Did you know the school board (EPSB) provides the land but zero funding for playgrounds? The cost to design, fund, and build falls entirely on our parents and school community.
Our playground structures from 1995/96 are at the end of their life. To replace them, we’ve launched a 3-phase plan, starting now with Phase 1: The West Playground.
Our Progress & Financial Goal
Thanks to a successful spring fundraiser, we reached our $125,000 goal, allowing us to apply for the maximum matching grant amount. While we wait to hear if our application is successful, we are continuing to raise funds to keep the project moving forward.
How You Can Help
We need community support to make this happen. Please consider volunteering your time and skills:
Join the Committee: Help plan and drive the project forward.
Share Your Skills: We need expertise in grant writing, fundraising, and coordination.
Advocate: Connect us with local sponsors and businesses.
Let’s build a safe, vibrant space for our kids.
